Six classes of vectorworks.  First two classes drawing a chair.  It was harder than I thought.  But I learn that I need to measure everything in proportion, it makes sense, but something overlook.   Still wasn't able to finish one chair in one session. And I did a lot of things wrong. Since it is one to one tutorial now, it is much better than in Unit 1. Which I felt it is a total waste of time when something can be taught in youtube in half hour.

Despite it is just a simple chair tracing from a photo from the net, I think I feel quite accomplished.   And have finally learned something very useful and I know this program is definitely usable for me when I get out of school.  Mauricio is a very patient man, although he is more like a father teaching a child.  I felt too old to be taught that way.  Still relatively good teacher.   After chair,  we are giving the task to draw the young vic, the theatre.  More advanced and much more complicated, have to figure out all little columns and size, I like the challenge though.  I felt I've finally getting somewhere with this vectorworks, however very slow.  I got distracted and try drawing the mythology creature in the middle.... unsuccessfully.  I can't say I am proficient yet, the six sessions is over.  A few of us in the morning session allows us to have Mauricio all to ourselves, which is good.  But I was almost looking forward to continue on vectorworks.  I used vectorworks to draw and resize the puppet and trollking for cutting.  I hope we continue on vectorworks in Unit 3.
