Louis Philip Demers, for me, he is a much anticipated teacher that I have quite a lot of questions to ask, because he is doing exactly what I am hoping to do. He was assigned to us the last day before Easter. I was so exhausted but nevertheless, still brilliant to have him. I don't know about the others, but he was quite helpful to me. He has shown us a lot of links, I wasn't particularly interested in the dancing motion tracking performance, but I especially enjoyed the monkey business video. That one is using Kinect? A robotic mechanism underneath the monkey, and he will follow your movements as one moves. I found that that is far more interesting than just projection, which we have been introduced and taught mostly. I am working on arduino and motion sensors. Motions sensors can go up to 10ft. So still not that far away... But at least it is small and can be put anywhere as long as the wiring is done probably. He is a very mellow man and speaks really softly, I was really tired and struggle to take on and gather what he can teach. Due to the limited time, I just ask his advise on the mechanisms of my mouth for my troll king for now, as I can't think of anything on that day on what I need to ask him. He did give me some good advise about servos and be aware the the smaller the mechanism that I am building, the more precise I need to be. My tutorial with him only took less than 10 min, which is great as I have been trying to ask other tutors but nobody knows about anything about what I am doing, except for Greseck in Digital media or Will in wood work, but I haven't got around consolidate my thoughts and ask....
