Spend nearly £100 pounds trying to assemble an led scrolling display from the website instructables, unfortunately can't get it to work even with Grezeik in DMC, so plan B, brought a preassemble one from maplin.

Pir sensor led light cloud

During the first stage from previous unit, got pir sensor to work, but have not been able to use it in the last unit, as in the last unit I want to use the pir sensor to trigger the projection. I abandon the idea as the theatre is big, and larger group comes in the theatre and the audience would not know it they have trigger the senses. Plan 2, in this unit, I created a cloud and put the pir sensor in the cloud to trigger the 8 LED lights to indicate an entrance door to the main stage.

instructions for audience

Hello everyone,

Follow the robot "blip" as you come into the theatre.  He will lead you to his master. 

​

As soon as you enter the stage, you will have an opportunity to ask the mysterious figure questions.

You need to make an offering before you ask, find a clementine on the floor and offer it to the troll King, and type your questions in the ipad in front of you. 

​

The following are questions that you can ask.

misha -  ACT I

              robot sound at the start of the opening when robot leads the audience in around the theatre, stay until the robot stops.

              silence 

              mad scientist turning his wimhurst machine

marc   -  start the light sequence - dim to bright slowly - brightness intensity to 100% then dim away

              ACT II

me     -   start projection on troll king

misha -  then troll king - welcome, you have 10 minutes to ask me questions

          -   start run the scene 2 background sound    

          -   as soon as you get a message on the phone - click on the question to respond

         -   my classmate Jenna will also be next to you, and sync to the LED scrolling display

         -   as soon as the scene 2 background runs to the end. it will automatically run the alarm sound. it’ll say “time’s up. Clap your hands to reveal your final answer.”

             ACT III

me -      trigger the live feed

misha -  click on the 3rd scene soundscape - time 5 minutes

marc -   as 5 minutes is up. start the last light sequence - faster rhythm with blinking lights, intensity 100%, fade to black abrupt
